I remember being a little girl and running my hand over all her fabrics, admiring the scraps in her quilt bag. I'd accompany her to the Spoon River Scenic Drive every year and "help" her at her booth. Sometimes I even sold my creations :: friendship bracelets and Worry Dolls.
Her mother worked at an overall factory and made up her own patterns, cut out of newspaper. I'm proud to carry on our sewing traditions.
