Today is the perfect late summer/early autumn day.
Yesterday led up to today wonderfully.
We slept with the windows open, nice and cool.
My jeans have left hibernation and made their fall appearance today.
Jimmyredhed and I took a lovely trip to Madison this weekend.
We stayed with a friend and enjoyed the most relaxing Saturday --
equipped with a multi-hour nap, Michigan Rummie, and Weeds Season 5.
Of course, we had to visit a couple thrift stores.
That's what we do on vacation!
On Sunday, I set up at the Summer Craftacular.
The 15 minute drive to the show was much more pleasant than the 45 mins. it takes me in Chicago.
the very first of the shoppers!
Doing a new show, in a new city was a breath of fresh air.
I love working with my fellow Chicago vendors,
but I enjoyed seeing new booths, new products, and new displays.
It was creatively refreshing!
The load in was extremely easy, the show was as smooth as can be, and I debuted a new set up.
I found an antique ironing board in our house that's now my table!
The apple basket was free from a garage cleanout and the fruit crate free from my father-in law.
The sole mistake of the weekend . . . bringing Chicago Bears totes across the Wisconsin border!
I met so many new crafters and hope to reconnect with them soon!
