With buckets of daily snow to keep our yards and city earth covered,
I am constantly in a state of want and lust after spring.
My Killer Queen shares my sentiments.
Spring is everywhere on my mind and so I make plans and wait to get my hands dirty!
So as the days play tricks, warm and sunny, snowing and cold . . . I prepare for my outdoor renovations.
I can't wait to cake my hands with mud, set up our compost bin, and reinstate our earthworm colony. This is my first patch of actual land since moving to Chicago.
Our table top garden was fine while living in an apartment, but now I actually have YARD to stretch in.
I have visions of apple trees, rows of carrots, huge tomato plants, an abundance of red peppers.
