There are many nights, when Jimmy is working late and I'm working on stuff around the house, that I do not cook dinner for myself. It's hard to cook for one person and some nights I'm just not in the mood. On many of those nights, a baked potato is the perfect meal for me. I grab one out of our veggie dish, poke a bunch of holes in it and pop it in the microwave for ten minutes. A little butter, garlic, and an occasional sprinkle of cheddar cheese and I'm good to go for the night.
Through Craft Gossip, I found this tutorial for a microwave potato bag by Craft Sanity. She explains that the bag acts as a steam chamber and cooks a warm and soft potato in only 4-8 minutes. I am totally considering trying this! If you make one, let me know how it works and don't forget to use reclaimed materials!
