It's been awhile since I've posted because of our wonderfully relaxing weekend.
Thursday night Jimmy and I picked up his sister Jenny and jumped on 55. We ended up pitching a tent right outside of Champaign for the night. Sleeping was oddly comfortable as tenting normally makes me feel like I was bulldozed. Friday we drove the rest of the way to Lake of Egypt and spent the day swimming with the family. I love weekends where you can sleep in and have no plans whatsoever!
On Saturday, we went to the Pomona winery. We sampled some amazing apple and fruit wines. We ended up purchasing the peach and strawberry wines that taste more like dessert and jams than wine! We also picked out all of our wedding photos for our album which was no easy task.
Anyway, we're back home in Chicago and I'm ready to get into a bag-making frenzy. Glenwood Avenue Arts Fest in Rogers Park is just around the corner. I'm focusing on making about 15-20 more totes before the fair. If you're around the Northeast side of the city, you should stop by!
6900-7000 North Glenwood Avenue and the 1400 block of Morse Avenue.
