An early saturday morning ushers us into a much needed four day weekend.
I spent most of yesterday digging through our compost bins with Alex.
We sorted through the completed compost which we distributed onto our four raised beds, adjusted the levels between our two bins, and pulled out our red wigglers one by one to put in with our new compost.
(They haven't multiplied much due to crazy weather patterns and un-ideal compost levels. We needed them to stay in our bins instead of our beds. As they multiply, this will not be an issue.)
A garden update will come soon.
Today, the red head and I are diligent sanders in the second bedroom.
The drywall has been hung and the first layer of join compound applied.
Sanding is the toughest job especially since there are so many angles and uneven walls in the room.
Our huge goal is to be done with mudding and sanding by the weekend.
Our realistic goal is to finish by the end of next weekend.
