A Chicago tradition that I find totally hilarious,
endlessly amusing, and down right fun.
As our first official winter as homeowners, we jumped on the space saving bandwagon. Our green, plastic lawn chairs held the place of our (barely) shoveled parking spot, directly in front of our house. Fellow Chicagoans will attest :: chairs are the most common yet the strollers, exercise equipment, broken pieces of plywood, laundry hampers, car seats, bar stools, soggy boxes, 2 x 4s are most amusing. The most sustainable ... two five gallon buckets filled with cement with a rope run between.
We haven't saved our space in a few days as the need is melting with the snow.
But they're still stuck cock-eyed in the snow ... you know ... just in case.
