Good news . . . last month's featured tote just sold so it is time for a new one. Pictured here to the right is a Set of (2) Starburst Totes in light pink. The two that I made in hot pink sold out immediately. Now here are their twins. This set was upcycled from two sheets.
Motivation has kicked in. I finised three totes today that I will try to post pictures of later in the weekend. Having a new husband is a huge distraction I guess! LOL Anyway, I sat down to start on the first tote and promptly busted two needles on the sewing machine. So with no further thoughts, I jumped on the scooter and raced down Broadway to the nearest Hancock Fabrics. I had no idea what time they closed and was praying to get there in time or else my entire night would be shot. Well, they were opened and I was able to get one pack of medium sized needles and one assorted (with needles for heavy fabric). Once I got home, however, (after an incident of a girl walking in front of my scooter ON PURPOSE), I realized that the first pack was for sheer materials. I will have to return that in the morning.
Lastly, here's a rough-looking version of my business card design. Although the colors look messed up, it's green writing on a brown background with a white strip at the bottom. What do you think?
