Come gather 'round, ya'll. Gather near.
Killer and I sit curled in the sunroom, ushering in a quiet end to a late winter sunset. I woke this morning, quick to hear the chirping of birds and enjoyed our first bit of green under mounds of melting snow. J. and I baked cookies today, practiced smelling a fresh pink rose ... laughing as it tickled her nose, and as I walked two short blocks home, I reveled in this truly romantic February day. The promise of spring lingers in the space between these finger tips and a house full of open windows.
As we slip into these peaceful hours, may you fully embrace the entirety of this day. Are you truly living it? I send highest hopes that you are filled, overflowing, with the rejuvenation a transitioning season offers.
