No sane bird befouls its own next. As a youth hiking through the mountains, I carefully and joyfully drank from the many mountain springs. This fresh water gurgling from the rocks seemed to be holy, as if Moses had walked through here and struck the rocks making water flow from them.
Now I carry a water bottles and drink from a bottle instead of a mountain spring because I've been told the water has pollutants making it unsafe to drink. I have learned that these pollutants, which limit my joy of drinking from the mountain springs, are caused by the sulfur and mercury-spuming power plant which provides energy for my home.
How sane am I?
