I posted this tote this morning in my online shop and I wanted to tell you a little bit about it. This tote is one of my new favorites. I came across this wonderful material when I visited a church rummage sale in Kenilworth (a northern suburb near where I work). Upon entering the church, I made a bee line for the linens room where my senses went into overload and I went into a fabric-induced mania, grabbing everything in sight. Actually, I didn't find too much, but cluttered in a corner by the front door, I found a bolt of this green, almost grainy fabric. I got a great deal on it and brought it home. I have made four of these totes. The first one I gave to my sister-in-law for her "green" themed wedding shower. At that shower, my in-laws' downstairs neighbor loved that bag and so I created a custom for her. I currently have two in stock and it's hard not to keep one for myself. I love the roominess and sturdiness of this tote and the two handles, which you may know is rare in my style of totes.
This picture was taken at Putman Township Park in Cuba, IL with my lovely little sister, Sara as my talented model.
This tote is perfect for fall and I hope you love it as much as I do!
