I am so excited to share the news regarding the latest developments regarding greenie bean recycle. It's been in the making for a while, but it's official.
Beginning November 1, I will be moving into a retail space at the Andersonville Galleria at 5247 N Clark St (Clark and Berwyn). The galleria describes itself as this "home to more than 90 indie artists, artisans and merchants in the heart of Chicago's popular Andersonville neighborhood."
It is shops like the Galleria that are enabling independent artisans to make a name and life for themselves, spreading their talents through our communities and inspiring those around us to shop local, to purchase directly from the hands of our friends, loved ones, and people who are just totally cool. As a woman, young at that, who is busting her ass to share her product with a larger grass roots community, the Galleria offers me that opportunity.
I want to share that with you.
Visit my space at the Galleria (second floor, back of the shop, next to the dressing room), visit my online shop, Hell . . . visit my house! But as my friends, readers, or just someone who is bored and stumbled across my blog . . . support those people who are like me . . . support your neighborhood . . . and support a person who is trying to make an honest living in a shit-hole economy.
you will be so happy that you did because there is nothing like handmade.
