and so the hibernation begins.
Jimmyredhed and I went out for pizza last night. Time spent alone together that is difficult to capture, even more difficult to embrace. In those moments, we share the silliest laughter. We came home to a warm house, shared a seat on our living room floor and made laundry soap with a favorite movie from our teenage years Can't Hardly Wait playing on our laptop (did you know Jason Segel plays the stoner, watermelon guy?!).
I woke up this morning to this ::
He's outside shoveling our sidewalks. I'm finishing a presentation for my grad class and dreaming back to all the first snows of my life . . .
the magical, perfect, first snows that usually hit right during finals week. We'd be running around in our pajamas, bags of popcorn and pizza boxes littering the floor, rushing out to make snow angels, throwing snowballs at the boys' existing their next door dorm, basking in the warmth of dorm room hot chocolate.
Can you remember your first snows?
